Meet Julie

Julie Frausto, B.S., CCT
Certified Clinical Thermographer | Certified Group Fitness Instructor

A Wisconsin native, Julie Frausto is passionate about helping individuals discover and sustain their inner vitality through fitness, nutrition, lifestyle practices, and clinical thermography. Having returned to her home area to serve her community, Julie embraces a whole-body, proactive approach to wellness that educates and empowers individuals to become active participants in their own health journeys.

Julie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed her clinical thermography training through the American College of Clinical Thermology, where she is also a member. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) evaluates patterns of skin temperature that may reflect underlying physiological changes, including areas of inflammation or altered vascular activity. This noninvasive, radiation-free imaging provides complementary information that can help guide conversations about health and the importance of appropriate follow-up. Julie has a particular interest in women’s breast health and offers breast thermography as an adjunctive tool alongside established breast screening and diagnostic methods—not as a replacement for breast ultrasound, breast MRI, mammography or other medically indicated imaging.

Julie has also completed Dr. Nasha Winters’ Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health (MTIH) Terrain Patient Advocate program, strengthening her ability to support individuals navigating a cancer journey. Her commitment to a more proactive, whole-person approach to health is deeply personal. After losing her mother to ovarian cancer and supporting her husband through cancer, Julie became determined to explore ways to help people take a more active role in their health and well-being. This passion grew through her experience as a Wellness Coordinator at Zuza’s Way Integrative Health Care and continues to inspire her work in clinical thermography.

Julie believes that health is shaped by the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit, and that everyday choices involving nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and environmental exposures can play an important role in overall well-being. She is passionate about connecting individuals with knowledgeable healthcare practitioners and wellness professionals who can help them make informed decisions and build sustainable, health-supporting habits.

Outside the office, Julie brings her love of movement to the fitness community, teaching various strength-based and cardio classes, as well as playing tennis and pickleball. Julie and her husband of 27 years live in Plymouth, WI, with their two dogs and have two adult children.
